This knife was send to me as a gift from Taylor Cutlery together with the various parts that I asked them for. Now, this is what I call customer service. These guys were under no obligation to send me a gift. They offered me to replace my peeling S&W 2000 knife, and I rejected their offer due to the shipping costs, so typically they were under no obligation to me. Still, they send me another knife as a gift, plus an abundence of spare parts. Gentlemen thank you very much.
The Tactical knife, is a "Framelock" meaning that there are no separate handles and liner. The handles play the role of the liner. It has a 4" tanto serrated blade, and it is all finished in a dull grey color, very nice and very ... tactical. Of course, the new Tactical knife, received my now familiar "pointing edge removal" treatment, only this time I had to use a Dremel tool. Since this knife has no handles, the liner/frame metal is very hard. It would take me hours to do it with a file. As you can see though, the results are very satisfactory. Plus, I just love that tanto blade (if only it had no serrations!!).
